Each account is created with a unique identifier that is independent of the email address. This means you can effectively change your email address without having to give up your Notes, Tasks, and Assigned Records.

While most accounts can be configured to support exporting, having more lists, or being able to add additional addon-users, only one account may be associated as your "Billing Account". This is the only user that can log into our E-Commerce platform to enter in Credit Card information, and purchase additional user seats, as well as any addon-packages we have available.

When you transfer your Primary Account to someone else, you will lose:

  1. Any Tasks, Notes, Licenses, Companies, or Contacts created or associated to you
  2. The ability to Export
  3. The ability to log into the billing portal
  4. The ability to assign accounts via the "Team" tab

If you are switching the Primary Account to someone who already has an addon user, you will need to first disable that person as an add on. You can not transfer an account to a user who already has an account in the system.

Note: When an existing add-on user gets switched to the primary user, all of that person's notes, tasks, deals, etc, will no longer be owned by that person.

Also note: The primary account can only be swapped once per billing cycle, and the new primary email address must be under an approved domain on your account.

To change your account email, log into app.cannabiz.media, then click on your user profile icon or initials in the upper right corner of the screen:

Next click on the "Change" link on the settings page next to your email address:

You will be directed to a form to fill out, agreeing that if you are transferring this account to someone else, you will remove any data you may have copied or exported from your system, unless you're adding yourself back in as an addon user.

Only users with an account may use data downloaded, exported, or copied in any way from Cannabiz Media.
