Clicking that Export button is so tempting, but wait! Without creating a list that will help optimize the search facets first you may end up downloading records that are missing the data you want. Here are some tips to ensure your search is complete before clicking Export.
If you are only interested in working with established businesses, be sure that the Active search facet is checked under Status.
If you are looking for particular pieces of information such as email addresses, phone numbers, or mailing address, be sure to utilize the search facets under Attributes - such as Has Address, Has Email, Has Phone - to ensure the records you download have the contact information you need.
Filtering Duplicate Email Addresses
We know that some organizations own multiple Licenses, and that the email address associated with these Licenses might be the same. We provide you with an option to exclude records with duplicate email addresses from your export, giving you one record per unique email address. This may give you a cleaner export if you are only looking for email addresses, and not concerned with unique addresses or phone numbers. Note that records without email addresses will be removed from the export as well.
